Hi Socco and Susan:

Good to hear from you. A was recently remembering the day when I practically dragged you two (especially Socco, the reluctant) onto a cable car at Chamonix -- and years later hearing Socco groan, so I thought, when we all heard of our brave U.S. fighter jet slashing the cable of one of those contraptions. Sorry, I wasn't completely aware of the game we were playing. Anyway, on with the writing and the art! What else is a socially aware person to do these days, when civilization itself is on the skids? After contacting you earlier because we both went to Cooper Union I was surprised to find that we had both gone to Stuyvesant High at the same time. Being in different disciplines we didn't chat all that often but it never came up before. At a highschool of such size, it's not surprising that we didn't know each other. Were you in the 3 1/2 year in 3 year program too? The extra-curricular activities I was in were limited as I worked after school, but I had been on the junior varsity swim team and the color guard.
You sure beat me on progeny. We have two boys, both married now (at 31 and 39) and our first grandchild is four months old. We're in good health and will see our grandchild grow, hopefully being able to participate in her life for decades to come.

Hello the the Litsios clan, The lobster season is on and they are so delicious. It is still chilly when the wind blows. We have been eating our spring herring and red potatoes, and yesterday picked our first feed of fiddleheads..yum, yum Nova Scotia awaits you. Loved seeing all the work.
